Many changes to existing systems have been implemented. Take control of one of the many corvettes or cruisers to protect your territory or wage brutal war on your enemies. This has changed in Creeping Darkness, allowing the freelancer or individual to wield one of these mighty behemoths of war. In 1.5, combat capitals (corvettes, cruisers, battleships) were only available to active factions. Whispers of dark-matter nebulae and Guild strike forces has left the people of Sirius wary of the Guild response to any intrusion into their space. until someone stumbled upon their core worlds. Their ability to warp in and out of a sector of space gave them superiority. Their technological advanced society has terrorized all Houses in Sirius in several major battles. In Creeping Darkness, the Guild has become a major contender in Sirius' landscape.

The landscape has changed, the actions of the growing empires forever changing the face of Sirius. Rumormongers state that the location of the Guild's home base has been found but known have challenged them on their home turf. the Creeping Darkness of the Guild leaves a shadow on Sirius which has many worried about the future. War rocks the nations, conflict sparking at nearly all locations. The Mollys find a surprising ally in the House Nippon, now named the Blood Empire, and begin construction of a small capital fleet to fight back against Bretonia. The Mollys become a major factor, pushing for the independence of Dublin in new ways and ending their long rivalry with the Corsairs. One thing is certain, though: everyone in Sirius is their target and their technology is advanced enough that the Houses decide to band together to confront them.Įarly 808 saw a resurgence within the Molly forces, rallying behind an old general. What their intentions are or where they come from is a mystery. In late 807 as things start to quiet after the tumultuous early year, the mysterious organization known as the Guild appears and begins systematic shocking attacks throughout Sirius. After that last act, however, the Outcasts pulled out of Kusari and back into the edge worlds, returning to isolation. Hundreds of thousands died and hundreds of thousands more were addicted to the illicit drug. That alliance didn't last, however, and the Kyushu was changed forever by an Outcast weapon which "cardiformed" the farming planet. The Blood Dragons formed an alliance with the Outcasts and decimated the Kusari House forces while they were embroiled in a bitter battle with both Liberty and Bretonia, forming House Nippon in it's wake, with a Blood Dragon emperor on the throne. Greed never changes and once the governments had tasted space outside their own territory, they wanted more.Ĩ07 was a brutal year. Every bit was one part truth and one part lie, each vying for more control in a sector that had always had clear-cut lines of ownership.
Each sought it's own interests, claiming that they simply were countering the other offensives by their rivals.
The other Houses began maneuvering so they wouldn't be caught unawares and off guard. That peace, however, slowly began to break as the Houses began moving inexplicably beyond their own territory in 805 A.S. Sirius prospered overall, the House economies flourishing in an unprecedented boom as they rebounded from the war of earlier in the decade. The Houses, once on the brink of war, maintained nearly half a decade of peace. Much has changed since the war of 800 A.S.
